Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Freelance Video Editor will edit polished long-form videos, podcasts, and short-form content for various platforms, collaborating with the Senior Editor to produce high-performing content that meets established creative and technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Edit long-form videos, podcasts, and short-form content for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram
• Translate creative briefs and pre-production outlines into focused edits with strong storytelling elements
• Maintain organized project files and communicate progress while collaborating with other editors

Required qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional video editing experience with a strong portfolio
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and strong editorial judgment
• Excellent file-management habits and experience in collaborative post-production pipelines
• Familiarity with audience-retention principles and platform-native content practices
• Responsive communication skills, including familiarity with project-management tools like Monday.com
