Freight Pricing Analyst
Job Summary
Focused on developing and maintaining pricing structures for customer and carrier contracts, the full-time remote Freight Pricing Analyst will analyze historical data, recommend competitive pricing, and ensure contract compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain contract rate structures for customer freight agreements, including base rates and accessorials
- Analyze historical freight data and market trends to recommend competitive and profitable pricing
- Monitor contract compliance and resolve pricing discrepancies to ensure invoiced rates match agreed terms
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-3 years of experience in Dispatch, pricing, revenue management, or analytics within freight/logistics/3PL
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and modeling; experience with SQL or BI tools is an asset
- Familiarity with TMS platforms and freight market data sources
- Ability to translate data into clear pricing recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
