Job Summary
As a full-time remote Freight Procurement Consultant, the successful candidate will guide enterprise shippers through transport sourcing events, utilizing advanced analytics and automation to enhance freight operations across global supply chains.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end consulting for major industry shippers, managing complex transport RFPs/RFIs and tender implementations
- Transform customer shipment and rate data into strategic insights using platform analytics and scenario-modeling tools
- Deliver interactive training and consultative support to ensure seamless customer adoption of the SaaS platform
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of hands-on logistics or transportation industry experience, ideally supporting carrier or shipper operations
- Solid background in RFP processes and transportation bid management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Self-motivated work ethic with the ability to manage complex priorities autonomously in a remote setup
