French Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To shape the future of French accounting services, the full-time remote French Licensed Senior Accountant will manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of French entities, develop operational processes, and ensure compliance with local statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own full-cycle accounting tasks including bookkeeping, month-end close, and management reporting for French entities
• Lead client onboarding processes, ensuring smooth data migration and system setup for new French clients
• Act as the technical authority on French accounting standards and advise on compliance and operational requirements

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in French accounting within practice, outsourced services, or shared services environments
• Hands-on experience with full sets of accounts under French GAAP and familiarity with the statutory reporting cycle
• Fluent in French and business-level English
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications such as DCG / DSCG, CPA, ACCA, CA are preferred
• Proficiency in at least one French accounting platform (e.g., Sage, Cegid, Pennylane) and experience managing a client portfolio
