Seeking a full-time Front End Engineer to work remotely, who will own the technical direction of Tailscale's next-generation web console, build frontend infrastructure for multiple products, and focus on identity-adjacent systems including authentication and session management.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the frontend architecture for Tailscale's next-generation console
- Design and maintain cross-origin authentication and session infrastructure
- Build and operate a frontend serving platform to host multiple Tailscale products
Required Qualifications
- Deep experience building and operating production React applications at scale
- Strong understanding of web platform fundamentals, including HTTP semantics and browser security
- Experience building internal platforms or shared libraries for product teams
- Experience driving a unified console or platform vision across frontend codebases
- Strong judgment around frontend architecture and scalable testing strategies
