Job Summary
Driving a major transformation in technology, the full-time remote-eligible Front-end Engineer 5 will increase the reach of Capital One Shopping through SEO strategies, design high-performance front-end architectures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging features for over 100 million customers.
Key responsibilities
- Increase visibility of Capital One Shopping through effective SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies
- Design and build optimized front-end code and architectures to enhance user experience and search rankings
- Mentor senior engineers and contribute to standards for cross-platform consistency and accessibility
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field
- At least 6 years of professional experience in software engineering
- At least 6 years of experience developing applications using TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web frameworks
- At least 3 years of experience architecting or leading the development of federated front-end or design systems
