Frontend Engineer
Job Summary
Building the platform for informed underwriting decisions, the full-time Frontend Engineer will enhance the core Workbench experience, ensuring a fast and reliable data-heavy application while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and improve the core Workbench experience for underwriters and associated teams
- Create clear and trustworthy interfaces for AI-assisted workflows
- Partner with Product Management and Design to shape requirements and address user problems
Required qualifications
- Two or more years of professional software development experience with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience building web-based user interfaces using TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS
- Ability to integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and collaborate with backend engineers
- Experience diagnosing frontend performance issues with tools like Chrome DevTools or Sentry
- Familiarity with Git and agile software development practices
