Job Summary
Focused on enhancing user experiences, the full-time Frontend Engineer will build and ship UI for Checkmate's mobile app and desktop browser extension, collaborating closely with design and marketing teams in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Build and ship UI for the mobile app and desktop browser extension, ensuring polished and intuitive interfaces
- Collaborate with the Product Design Lead to prototype and implement designs quickly, prioritizing user experience
- Maintain and grow a component system for reusable UI elements, ensuring consistency and performance across platforms
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in building production front-end applications with a portfolio of consumer UI
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, with experience in React Native for mobile apps and/or browser extensions
- Solid understanding of responsive layout, animation, accessibility, and front-end performance
- Experience in creating reusable components that enhance developer experience
- Clear communication skills for effective collaboration with designers, marketers, and engineers
