Frontend Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of a world-class Device Management platform, the full-time Frontend Software Engineer will design and implement web applications using React and TypeScript, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement web applications for Toast's device management suite, focusing on configuration and policy management
- Collaborate with Product Management, Hardware, QA, and other Software teams to build scalable systems with an emphasis on quality and maintainability
- Write automated tests and deploy features while monitoring for success and addressing production issues
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional frontend web development experience
- Proficient in React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience in building responsive single-page applications
- Understanding of component architecture and state management
- Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs and writing tests using frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library
- Passion for clean, maintainable code and a strong customer empathy
