Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote FSA Actuary - Value Based Payments, the successful candidate will analyze healthcare data, interpret regulations, and build financial models while leading a team and managing client relationships in the healthcare sector.
Key responsibilities
- Perform analysis of healthcare data and interpret relevant regulations
- Build financial models and write reports to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Supervise actuarial students and less-experienced actuaries, ensuring project completion within budget
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field
- FSA designation with 7+ years of healthcare actuarial experience, including 4 years in a consulting role
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Value Based Payment arrangements
- Experience leading Medicare and/or Medicaid program VBP work
- Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with SAS, SQL, Python, or R
