Full Stack Developer
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs operations, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Production) will perform high-level operational support for complex application cloud systems, develop solutions to technical problems, and ensure compliance with security policies while managing production environments.
Key responsibilities
- Perform operational support and maintenance for cloud systems, including troubleshooting and resolving outages
- Develop and document solutions for technical issues while ensuring compliance with VA standards
- Communicate effectively with users and senior management regarding system statuses and user support
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure Cloud services, including S3 and CloudWatch
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
