Full Stack Developer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Production) will perform operational support for complex application cloud systems, develop solutions to technical problems, and ensure compliance with security policies while managing system performance and reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support and maintenance of cloud-based application systems
- Diagnose and resolve system outages while documenting issues and communicating with users and management
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies and maintain compliance with VA standards and security policies
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments
- Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure Cloud, including experience with S3, Step Functions, and CloudWatch
- Strong skills in Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems, along with system administration tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
