Full Stack Developer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Production) will perform operational support for complex application cloud systems, develop solutions for technical problems, and ensure compliance with security policies while managing system performance and reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high-level operational support and maintenance for cloud systems, including troubleshooting and resolving outages
- Document and report system issues, ensuring effective communication with users and senior management
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies and maintain compliance with VA standards and security policies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure Cloud, including S3, CloudWatch, and large-scale production systems
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and configuration management
- Strong understanding of system administration tasks, network protocols, and security best practices for production systems
