Full Stack Developer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and document results to ensure high-quality deliverables in complex software projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards
- Perform and lead tests of software and IT systems, documenting and communicating test results
- Provide technical solutions to complex problems and contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and scripts, with experience in both manual and automated testing
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with defect tracking and management tools, such as JIRA and Bugzilla
