Full Stack Developer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure quality deliverables for complex software projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases to ensure software quality and compliance with user requirements
- Lead testing efforts, including manual and automated testing, and document results while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Analyze test results, resolve issues, and provide technical solutions to improve testing procedures and software performance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans, with experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with testing tools and languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
- Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA and knowledge of performance testing tools
