Job Summary
To support a growing team, the remote Full Stack Developer will design, code, test, and deploy features while building REST APIs and ensuring code quality through unit testing and CI/CD processes.
Key responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and deploy features and defect fixes in two-week sprints
- Build REST APIs and integrations with VA enterprise services
- Refactor legacy applications and provide Tier 3 fixes for code changes and security remediation
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience (Java, .NET, Python, React, Angular, or Node.js)
- 2+ years of software development experience
- Experience with REST APIs, unit testing, and CI/CD tools (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube)
- Knowledge of secure coding practices per RMF / VA Handbook 6500
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
