Job Summary
To support mission-driven initiatives, the remote Full Stack Developer will design, code, test, and deploy features while building REST APIs and integrations with VA enterprise services.
Key responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and deploy features and defect fixes in two-week sprints
- Build REST APIs and integrations with VA enterprise services, ensuring compliance with secure coding standards
- Provide Tier 3 fixes including code changes, defect corrections, and security remediation
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience with Java, .NET, Python, React, Angular, or Node.js
- 2+ years of software development experience with REST APIs, unit testing, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub and Jenkins
- Experience with secure coding practices as per RMF / VA Handbook 6500
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential
