Full Stack Developer (MUMPS)

Job Summary

To support modernization and quality assurance efforts for mission-critical healthcare applications, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (MUMPS) will manage testing activities, validate software enhancements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support testing and quality assurance for healthcare applications, including developing and executing test plans and procedures
• Validate software enhancements and perform various testing activities such as functional, integration, and user acceptance testing
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and document testing metrics and results

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation, particularly in healthcare or government environments
• Experience with MUMPS and/or InterSystems Cache, including testing legacy applications and validating healthcare workflows
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR, and experience with EDI transactions
• Ability to analyze system logs and application errors to identify root causes and support production troubleshooting
