Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the foundational platform, the full-time remote Full Stack Engineer will manage the data layer, implement data governance, and design public APIs while ensuring compliance and operational integrity across multi-region architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Postgres data layer, including schema design, migrations, and performance optimization
• Implement data governance mechanisms for retention, deletion, and access control in compliance with regulations
• Design and maintain public APIs with a focus on versioning, compatibility, and user integration experience

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production backend systems
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL, including schema design and live system migrations
• Strong backend programming skills in Go, Node.js, Python, Java, or similar, along with frontend experience in React or comparable frameworks
• Experience designing and maintaining customer-facing APIs with a focus on versioning and compatibility
• Hands-on cloud experience, preferably with AWS, including storage and IAM
