Full Stack Engineer
Job Summary
To support a federal platform, the full-time salaried Full Stack Engineer will design, build, and maintain applications using Java, Spring, and Oracle, while also delivering enhancements and resolving support issues in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain features, services, and APIs across Java and Spring applications backed by Oracle, as well as modern cloud-based applications
- Deliver defect fixes, patches, and enhancements, while resolving help desk escalations and applying security updates
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to code reviews, ensuring high code quality and functionality
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional full stack software development experience
- Hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Framework, as well as relational databases like Oracle
- Experience in Linux server environments and front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines, along with supporting live production systems
