Job Summary
To support the modernization of the United States Postal Service's Customer Inquiry and Claims Response System, an experienced Full Stack Java Developer will work remotely on a contract-to-hire basis, focusing on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise Java applications, building secure RESTful APIs, and implementing cloud-native solutions within AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise Java applications and RESTful APIs
- Implement cloud-native solutions and microservices architectures utilizing AWS, Kubernetes, and Kafka
- Create and maintain automated testing solutions and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of Java development experience and 3 years of Full Stack development experience
- Hands-on experience with AWS development and cloud-native deployment models
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies
- Proficiency in backend technologies such as Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate ORM
- Familiarity with front-end technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
