Job Summary
Driving modernization initiatives, the full-time Full Stack Java Engineer will lead the development, testing, and integration of applications using Java, Spring Boot, and JavaScript in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end development and maintenance of applications and systems
- Lead brainstorming sessions to innovate and create digital solutions, including apps, APIs, and data solutions
- Assess and optimize solutions, focusing primarily on back-end development with some front-end involvement
Required qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in full-stack application development, particularly with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, SQL, and NoSQL databases
- Proficient in developing unit tests using JUnit/Spock and familiar with version control systems
- Self-driven with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
- Motivated to explore new technologies and promote a culture of diversity and inclusion
- Ability to work remotely with a high-speed internet connection, located in the United States or Puerto Rico
