Full Stack Web Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Full Stack Web Engineer will build and deliver features for enterprise-level WordPress solutions, transforming user stories into production-ready code using modern PHP, JavaScript, and React.js.
Key responsibilities
- Build features for enterprise-level WordPress solutions, including custom Gutenberg blocks, plugins, and themes
- Own tickets end-to-end by understanding requirements, making decisions, and delivering reviewable pull requests
- Translate designs and user experiences into polished, responsive features and reusable components within WordPress themes and plugins
Required qualifications
- Experience building WordPress solutions for large-scale, enterprise projects
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, modern PHP, JavaScript, and the Gutenberg ecosystem, including building custom blocks with React.js
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in development workflows
- Strong passion for coding best practices and a commitment to continuous improvement through code reviews
- Clear communication skills in English, both written and spoken
