Fullstack Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative video processing workflows, the full-time remote Fullstack Engineer (Backend Leaning) will design and implement complex data systems, manage product specifications, and oversee the project lifecycle from inception to launch.

Key responsibilities

• Own the produce once, distribute everywhere workflow for video projects, integrating dubbing pipelines and auto-translated captions
• Shape project specifications through written proposals and collaborate with the team lead on data structures
• Take projects from initial concept to launch with minimal guidance, demonstrating product ownership and initiative

Required qualifications

• Strong experience as a backend generalist, with a track record of designing and shipping complex, data-heavy systems
• Familiarity with enterprise-grade concerns, including usage reporting and account management
• Demonstrated evidence of product ownership through side projects, open source contributions, or relevant work experience
• Ability to work independently and manage projects from inception to launch
• Bonus: Experience with media or video-processing pipelines is helpful but not required
