Fullstack Software Engineer
Job Summary
As a Fullstack Software Engineer on the Local Conversations team, the remote position will focus on building high-quality web experiences using React and Python/Django, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance neighborhood engagement and participation.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of web applications across frontend and backend systems
- Engage in entity-relationship modeling and solution architecture to support product development
- Participate in team operating practices, including a gradual on-call shadow rotation after onboarding
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of software development experience with a proven ability to manage projects independently
- Strong frontend skills with experience in modern JavaScript and React
- Proficiency in a server-side web application language, preferably Python/Django
- Familiarity with SQL and developing across both frontend and backend systems
- Eagerness to utilize AI tools and emerging technologies in the development process
