Functional Design Consultant
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Functional Design Consultant to work remotely, who will gather, analyze, and document business requirements while translating them into functional designs for banking solutions, collaborating with various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Produce detailed Functional Requirement Documents (FRD/FSD) that include business rules, validations, and functional workflows
- Perform fit-gap analysis between business requirements and existing or proposed banking systems
- Define functional requirements for integrations between core banking, digital channels, and third-party systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in functional consulting, business analysis, or functional design
- Strong experience in preparing BRDs, FRDs/FSDs, and process flows
- Experience performing fit-gap analysis and defining functional requirements for system integrations
- Good understanding of banking system architectures and experience supporting SIT and UAT
