Job Summary
Driving the execution framework for safety-critical systems, the full-time Functional Safety Manager will lead planning and execution of safety initiatives across the autonomous vehicle lifecycle, ensuring alignment between product roadmaps and safety goals while working remotely in the US.
Key responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of safety-critical initiatives across the autonomous vehicle lifecycle
- Establish and maintain traceability between hazards, safety requirements, and verification activities
- Coordinate cross-functional safety activities including hazard analysis and safety assessments
Required qualifications
- Experience leading programs involving autonomous systems, ADAS, robotics, or safety-critical platforms
- Demonstrated experience applying ISO 26262 across the safety lifecycle
- Familiarity with safety lifecycle artifacts such as HARA, FMEA/FMEDA, and Safety Cases
- Ability to align engineering execution with safety assurance objectives
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field with relevant experience
