Fund Accountant

Job Summary

Motivated and detail-oriented, the remote Fund Accountant will manage the accounting and financial reporting for open- and closed-ended investment funds under UK GAAP and US GAAP, while contributing to process improvements and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting for closed-end funds, including maintaining investment ledgers and general ledger accounts
• Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and execute month-end closes and reconciliations
• Assist with regulatory filings and investor reporting packages while maintaining organized documentation for all fund accounting activities

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, financial accounting, or audit
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP, and/or IFRS
• Completed commercial or accounting-related education, ideally with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, ACA)
• Very good command of MS Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting or fund administration software is a plus
• Excellent command of English is a must
