Fund Operations Senior Associate

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Fund Operations Senior Associate will execute distributions across a portfolio of investment funds, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in operational workflows while collaborating with various internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review distribution requests and supporting documentation for accuracy and operational readiness before initiating payments
• Coordinate cash distribution workflows, including preparing payment instructions and monitoring payment statuses
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in fund and investor data, escalating material issues as necessary

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in private equity, venture capital, or investment operations
• Experience in middle- or back-office operations for private investment funds, particularly with distributions and investor operations
• Understanding of private fund structures and the operational relationship between funds and investors
• Experience with high-volume, detail-oriented operational processes requiring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for working with financial data and large datasets
