Funding Consultant

Job Summary

Coordinating the intake and submission of funding requests, the full-time Funding Consultant will work remotely to manage orders for new products, repairs, and equipment rentals while collaborating with SLPs, government agencies, and educational institutions to ensure compliance with third-party payer criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain communication with SLPs regarding funding cases and guide them on document preparation and funding policies
• Collaborate with insurance providers and educational institutions to place and track orders, ensuring timely resolution of funding authorization cases
• Review prior authorization documents for compliance and advocate for clients by troubleshooting funding requests with third-party insurance providers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or 2-4 years of related experience
• Preferred background in the health insurance field
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Outlook
• Strong internet navigation skills
• Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
