Job Summary
Coordinating the intake and submission of funding requests, the full-time Funding Consultant will work remotely to manage communication with SLPs, government agencies, and educational institutions, ensuring compliance with third-party payer criteria for assistive communication solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain communication with SLPs on funding cases and instruct them on document preparation and funding policies
- Work with insurance providers and agencies to place orders for new products, repairs, or rentals
- Track funding authorization cases, ensuring timely resolution and completion of requests
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or 2-4 years of related experience
- Background in the health insurance field preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Word and Outlook
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
