Funding Specialist Lead

Job Summary

To ensure compliance and operational efficiency, the full-time remote Funding Specialist Lead will coordinate with various stakeholders, manage the transaction cycle time, and provide guidance to Funding Specialists while overseeing documentation and funding processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages the transaction cycle time from Coding and Pricing Complete to Documentation Complete, ensuring timely and accurate funding approvals
• Develops and maintains knowledge of durable medical equipment policies and insurance guidelines, ensuring compliance with company procedures
• Provides direction and training to Funding Specialists, facilitating problem-solving and enhancing team performance

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Durable Medical Equipment and/or Complex Rehab Technology
• Extensive knowledge of insurance guidelines and processes for securing funding for Durable Medical Equipment
• Experience with data management systems and applications such as Mobility Advisor
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with a customer service orientation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, including spreadsheets and formulas
