Job Summary
To support the Guthrie Theatre Capital Campaign, the part-time remote Fundraising Representative - New York will engage with patrons and current/lapsed donors to close sales and raise funds for the Performing Arts, working 16 hours per week with flexible evening and weekend shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with existing leads to promote fundraising initiatives without cold calling
- Follow a script to effectively communicate and persuade potential donors
- Participate in ongoing training and coaching to improve sales techniques and productivity
Required qualifications
- Experience in fundraising or sales, preferably with a background in the Performing Arts
- Ability to work remotely with a reliable desktop or laptop and high-speed internet
- Must be available for paid training and flexible scheduling during specified hours
- Articulate and persuasive communication skills with a strong ability to close sales
- Must reside in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Illinois, or California
