Fundraising Specialist

Job Summary

Joining a community-based fundraising team, the full-time Fundraising Specialist will implement a year-round fundraising program focused on signature events like the MORE THAN PINK Walk and Race for the Cure, while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Manage outreach, fundraising, recruitment, and relationship-building to meet revenue goals
• Maintain an ongoing pipeline of fundraising participants and ensure best practices are implemented
• Deliver regular status reports and provide stellar customer service to participants and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience in peer-to-peer fundraising events or corporate partnerships preferred
• Strong recruitment skills with a proven ability to motivate participants
• Excellent planning, organizational, and follow-up skills
• Experience with fundraising technology platforms such as Blackbaud/TeamRaiser and Salesforce preferred
• Demonstrated professional interaction with staff, sponsors, and donors
