Job Summary
Experienced in Garage underwriting, the full-time remote Garage Underwriter will evaluate new and renewal business, manage broker relationships, and drive the growth of the Garage portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Underwrite new and renewal Garage business while evaluating risk, pricing, and overall account quality
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale brokers to facilitate business growth
- Communicate underwriting decisions and collaborate with internal teams to enhance business processes
Required qualifications
- Strong preference for Garage underwriting experience
- Commercial P&C underwriting experience
- Proven ability to evaluate risk and make sound underwriting judgments
- Experience working with wholesale brokers
- Self-directed with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to manage competing priorities
