GCP DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the Google Cloud infrastructure for a backend platform team, the hybrid GCP DevOps Specialist will manage projects, networking, load balancers, and CI/CD processes while ensuring security and cost optimization for a consumer mobile app and web front ends.
Key responsibilities
- Manage IAM and privileged access, including service account down scoping and access reviews
- Run CI/CD and deployment processes for serverless workloads while building alerting and monitoring systems
- Lead security hardening initiatives and drive cost optimization by identifying and retiring unused resources
Required qualifications
- Experience with GCP Networking, Shared VPC, Cloud Run, Cloud Function, and Cloud Build
- Proficiency in GitHub and IAM security management
- Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Ability to investigate production incidents and implement monitoring solutions
