Genealogy Research Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Research Manager for the Southern U.S. research team, who will manage genealogical research projects, oversee team members, and ensure high-quality deliverables while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage research projects, including client communication, project timelines, and budget adherence
• Coordinate genealogical research efforts across multiple team members at various archives and libraries
• Develop and mentor genealogists of varying experience levels to enhance research quality

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a professional genealogist
• Bachelor's degree in Family History, History, or a related Humanities/Social Science field
• 2+ years of project management experience, including stakeholder and risk management
• Proficiency in Southern U.S. genealogical research and record understanding
