General Manager, Venture & Private Equity

Job Summary

To build and run its venture and private equity business, the full-time General Manager, Venture & Private Equity will own the strategy, relationships, product priorities, and P&L while working remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to establish Flex as the primary financial institution for venture and private equity
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the venture and private equity sectors
• Collaborate with product, credit, risk, and member experience teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients

Required qualifications

• 7 to 12 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, private equity, or venture, with a proven track record of originating business
• An active network in venture and private equity with the ability to engage key industry contacts
• Strong understanding of capital movement, including capital calls, distributions, and portfolio treasury management
• Experience structuring partnerships and negotiating terms independently
• Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills related to banking and credit economics
