Job Summary
To support the implementation and growth of genetics programs, the full-time remote Genetic Counselor - AK Licensed will deliver high-quality genetic counseling services through telemedicine, providing direct patient care and collaborating with clinical teams across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver genetic counseling services and risk assessments to patients via telemedicine
- Assist with the launch of genetics programs and integrate them into local clinical practices
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, provider education, and quality improvement initiatives
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling or Clinical Genetics
- Genetic Counselor License in the applicable state upon hire
- National Certified Genetic Counselor certification from the American Board of Genetic Counseling upon hire
- Minimum of 3 years' experience providing patient-facing genetic counseling and risk assessment
