Job Summary
Focused on processing and analyzing complex datasets, the full-time remote Genomics Analyst will manage quality control and data interpretation for genomics, metabolomics, and proteomics, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support research on human health and disease.
Key responsibilities
- Process and quality-check omics data, implementing workflows for data cleaning and normalization
- Conduct exploratory and statistical analyses, integrating various omics and clinical data
- Develop and document reproducible processing workflows, producing analysis-ready datasets and technical reports
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, or a related field with 1 year of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with metabolomics and proteomics data processing and analysis
- Working knowledge of bioinformatics tools and statistical methods for omics data
- Proficiency in R and/or Python, with experience in Unix/Linux environments
- Foundational knowledge of human genetics and common genomic data formats
