Job Summary
Supporting business teams in the financial services and e-commerce sectors, the full-time Georgia Licensed Associate General Counsel will draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts, advise on legal risks, and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate commercial contracts related to the prepaid and stored value industry
- Assist business units in resolving contractual disputes and legal issues
- Provide general legal support to technology-based financial services business initiatives
Required qualifications
- Juris doctorate and bar membership in a US state
- 2+ years of experience as a practicing attorney in a corporate law department or law firm
- Experience drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts
- Ability to provide counsel on complex legal questions and analyze legal issues effectively
- Team-player mentality with a willingness to assist legal team members and learn new skills
