Job Summary
To support emergency department and inpatient teams, the full-time Georgia Licensed Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist will provide high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations remotely, requiring 2+ years of consult-liaison experience post-residency.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and consultations for patients across multiple hospital systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to enhance access to behavioral healthcare
- Supervise Nurse Practitioners as part of the consultative care process
Required qualifications
- Active Georgia medical license
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency
- A minimum of 2 years of post-residency consult-liaison psychiatry experience
- Experience providing psychiatric consultations in inpatient and emergency department settings
