Georgia Licensed Controller

Job Summary

To support a growing technology company, the full-time Georgia Licensed Controller will build an audit-ready accounting function, oversee multi-entity consolidation, and lead the offshore accounting team while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Lead the first US GAAP audit, partnering with the VP, Finance & Accounting to select an audit firm and prepare necessary documentation
• Oversee the consolidation of financial data across multiple entities, including intercompany eliminations and FX translation

Required qualifications

• Active or inactive CPA with 10+ years of experience, including 3+ years at a Big 4 or national audit firm
• 4+ years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role at a venture-backed company with revenues between $25M and $150M
• Experience leading a company through a first-time US GAAP audit or remediating financial records to be audit-ready
• Hands-on experience with multi-entity consolidation and managing offshore accounting teams, preferably in India
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606, particularly in relation to services and recurring revenue models
