Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the part-time contract Georgia Licensed Early Childhood Specialist will create a cohesive curriculum for children ages 1-6 with autism, focusing on developing engaging lesson plans and activities while working primarily remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build a 12-month themed curriculum calendar with activities that connect across themes
- Develop lesson plans, crafts, and play-based learning opportunities tailored to various developmental levels and abilities
- Coordinate with staff to identify and distribute materials needed for planned activities and ensure curriculum implementation
Required qualifications
- Current teaching certification in Early Childhood Education, Preschool Education, or a closely related field
- Experience creating lesson plans and curriculum for preschool or early childhood learners
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate, play-based learning and sensory activities
- Proficiency in digital tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
- Ability to occasionally visit Elevation centers in person
