Georgia Licensed Endocrinology Nurse

Job Summary

To enhance patient care in a remote setting, the full-time Georgia Licensed Endocrinology Nurse will provide patient assessments, triage, education, and follow-up care, ensuring high-quality support while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and triage via telephone and secure messaging, prioritizing care based on severity
• Educate patients on pre and post-procedure care, ensuring they are well-prepared and supported during recovery
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to deliver safe and timely patient care, participating in regular team meetings for process improvement

Required qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Active RN license in Georgia or multi-state compact RN license within one year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience, with at least 1 year in a physician practice setting
• Preferred experience with virtual care services such as telehealth or remote nursing functions
