Georgia Licensed Material Manager

Job Summary

Leading the material management function for large-scale construction projects, the full-time Georgia Licensed Material Manager will oversee the material lifecycle, manage shipping and receiving activities, and ensure efficient inventory control in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the complete material lifecycle from receiving through installation, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation
• Coordinate with various teams to identify material requirements and ensure timely availability for projects
• Implement inventory control procedures, conduct audits, and maintain organized storage processes to minimize loss and damage

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in material management, logistics, or related fields, preferably in construction
• Previous leadership experience managing material or logistics teams
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with construction management software like Procore
• Knowledge of mechanical construction materials and OSHA safety standards
• Forklift and telehandler operation experience; certifications preferred
