Georgia Licensed School Social Worker
Job Summary
Dedicated to supporting students with learning differences, the full-time Georgia Licensed School Social Worker will deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 counseling services for mild/moderate and at-risk student populations in a fully remote setting, starting November 2, 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect social work services to students and families, focusing on Tier 2 and Tier 3 counseling
- Collaborate with school or IEP teams to develop tailored treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Lead mental health and behavioral interventions, including designing positive behavioral strategies and conducting psycho-educational evaluations
Required qualifications
- Active Clinical Social Worker license (LCSW) and valid Georgia state certification for K-12 School Social Work (GA SSW)
- Minimum of one year of full-time, on-site school social work experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in National SSW Practice Model domains and expertise in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
- Experience with Panorama software for data collection and progress monitoring
