Job Summary
To support the Maternal, Infant, and Toddler Nutrition Team, the remote Georgia Licensed Senior Technical Advisor will provide expert guidance on breastfeeding public health programs, develop content for CDC's website, and analyze data to enhance breastfeeding support in various settings.
Key responsibilities
- Provide knowledge and content expertise to advance breastfeeding strategic priorities
- Coordinate the analysis of data related to breastfeeding supports for publication on DNPAO's website
- Prepare and develop briefing documents and publications for key stakeholders regarding breastfeeding initiatives
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in human nutrition, public health, epidemiology, behavioral science, or a related discipline; doctoral degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in breastfeeding/human lactation
- At least 5 years of experience working at a federal level to support breastfeeding activities
- Experience managing or overseeing federal data releases related to infant feeding
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
