Georgia Licensed Supervising Psychiatrist
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the part-time Georgia Licensed Supervising Psychiatrist will supervise and mentor PMHNPs, contribute to clinical leadership decisions, and provide second opinion consultations while maintaining a flexible schedule with no on-call obligations.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor up to 12 PMHNPs, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and compliant billing
- Provide second opinion consultations for complex cases and manage medications in alignment with measurement-based care
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and improve psychiatric care tools, workflows, and treatment guidelines
Required qualifications
- Board-certified Psychiatrist (MD or DO) with an active, unrestricted federal DEA registration
- Active license to practice in Georgia
- Proven experience supervising Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs)
- Knowledge of state-specific collaborative practice agreements and multi-state supervision regulations
- Experience with telemedicine platforms and virtual care delivery
