Job Summary
Responsible for evaluating and expediting cost-effective medical treatment for injured employees, the full-time remote Georgia Licensed Telephonic Nurse Case Manager will manage disability cases, coordinate early return to work efforts, and collaborate closely with claims and medical teams.
Key responsibilities
- Complete initial assessment reports and establish disability duration timeframes
- Analyze medical records against treatment guidelines and communicate findings to adjusters
- Develop and maintain action plans for early return to work based on disability guidelines
Required qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing; BSN preferred
- 3 years of experience in Workers' Compensation Case Management preferred
- Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification, CDMS, and/or CRRN preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office products
- Willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed; compact license preferred
